This position serves as the administrative liaison with Banner and Supervisor for all trainees and administrative staff. Establishes and updates department workflow based on organizational policies and procedures, standard professional practices, guidelines, and standards as specified by accrediting agencies and related local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Core functions include supervisory/management duties for residents, fellows, and office/administrative team members, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with program directors, staff, faculty, and residents/fellows, overseeing, planning, and directing the daily workflow and staffing needs of the ACGME programs, approving reimbursement requests for ACGME trainees, supervising department of medicine administrative support staff, reviewing and training department of medicine support teams on banner physician/APP recruitment and travel pre-authorizations, preparing banner forms for the DoM Finance Office, preparing monthly invoices for Banner contracts, and researching vendor inquiries and accounts payable issues.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, healthcare related field or equivalent experience, and a proficiency level typically attained with 3-5+ years' experience in healthcare operational/financial management, quality improvement, risk assessment, change management, and project/standardization work at multiple facilities. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in business or healthcare related field, and additional related education and/or experience.
