- The position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies. - RNs will participate in the PCU Academy, which provides skills necessary for caring for adult health populations. - The job requires self-scheduling a minimum of 2 shifts per month, allowing for flexibility in work hours. - Nurses will care for a diverse patient population with various medical comorbidities, including diabetes and heart failure, in a fast-paced environment. - The role includes admitting, transferring, and discharging patients daily, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of RN work experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in nursing practices. - Candidates should possess at least 12 months of recent experience in the Observation Department, Progressive Care Unit, or Telemetry, indicating familiarity with fast-paced medical environments. - Successful applicants will be BLS and ACLS certified, showcasing their commitment to patient safety and emergency care. - The role requires flexibility in scheduling, as candidates must be available to work at both the Tucson and South campuses. - A strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration is essential, as the position involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team.
