- This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies.
- The RN will be responsible for formulating a plan of care that includes discharge planning, utilizing assessment data and input from patients and families.
- Direct patient care will be provided, along with coordination and supervision of the healthcare teamβs activities.
- The role requires ongoing evaluation of patient responses to care and teaching, with adjustments made to the care plan as needed.
- Orientation for new hires is a full-time, week-long commitment, requiring attendance at both virtual and in-person training sessions.
β‘ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of RN work experience, with a minimum of 12 months in an Emergency Department setting.
- Candidates should possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS to ensure they are prepared for the demands of the role.
- A commitment to patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this position.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide continuity of care.
- Flexibility in scheduling is important, as the role requires self-scheduling for a minimum of 2 shifts per month across multiple locations.
