- This position serves as a nursing co-leader of multiple units, including Med/Surg Observation, PCU Oncology, and Med/Surg. - The role involves managing approximately 20 direct reports and ensuring efficient patient care and resource utilization. - The job requires participation in monthly meetings, necessitating a shift change from night to day shift once a month. - The candidate will be responsible for leading change by developing, implementing, and evaluating quality and process improvement initiatives. - The position includes managing operational and capital budgets and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. - The role emphasizes the development of staff leadership and encourages participation in career advancement opportunities.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and developing a budget, staff development, selection, onboarding, and retention of new staff. - A strong knowledge and understanding of clinical care management is essential, as demonstrated through relevant clinical management experience. - The candidate should possess critical thinking, communication, influence, decision-making, analytical, and flexibility skills to make optimal decisions based on multiple variables and desired outcomes. - A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required, with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. - The successful individual will be a leader who is excited about the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
