As a Cellular Therapy Transplant Coordinator you will extensively educate and guide patients in understanding the cellular therapy process This includes evaluation, donor search, treatments, and what to expect before, during, and after Cellular Therapy. You will also collaborate with other health care providers to develop and implement patient care plans from consultation to post therapy care. You will maintain communication with patients, caregivers, donors, laboratories, inpatient teams, referring physicians, payors, manufacturing companies (CAR-T), donor organizations, research organizations, and other health care providers throughout the full cellular therapy process. You may also work with accreditation agencies, local/international donor agencies, physicians, and quality specialists to ensure cellular products meets monitoring agency standards. Please note that RN Oncology experience is required for this role.

This position provides comprehensive management and coordination of care for patients requiring kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, lung or Stem Cell Transplantation The level and intensity of care coordination provided is situational and appropriate based on patient need and payor requirements.
Requires current RN license in state of practice. BLS certification is required. Requires a minimum of two years clinical nursing experience; to include a clinical specialty area such as ICU, PCU, CM, OR, ED, Dialysis, Oncology or Telemetry. Must have a working knowledge of care management, resource/utilization management, and hospital and community resources. Must demonstrate clinical proficiency in the care of transplant patients. Requires critical thinking skills to effectively coordinate a large volume of patients simultaneously. Must demonstrate problem-solving abilities, effective oral and written communication skills, and time management skills. Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team format.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous transplant experience. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
