- The Registered Nurse (RN) Transplant Coordinator will assist patients in determining their candidacy for kidney transplants.
- Responsibilities include guiding patients through the evaluation process and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
- The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with specific start times required on Thursdays.
- The role involves managing individual patients across the transplant healthcare continuum to achieve optimal outcomes.
- The RN will facilitate the safe and timely placement of donor organs and must possess advanced knowledge of OPTN/UNOS regulations.
- The position requires establishing collaborative relationships with physicians, payers, and other healthcare team members.

- The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification.
- A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience is required, preferably in a specialty area such as ICU, PCU, or Dialysis.
- Candidates should have a working knowledge of care management and resource/utilization management.
- Strong critical thinking skills are essential for effectively coordinating a large volume of patients simultaneously.
