✨ About The Role
- The position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
- Responsible for the quality of nursing services delivered and supervising others under their direction
- Must provide care based on physician orders, nursing plan of care, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Involves evaluating patient progress, revising care plans as needed, and documenting all aspects of patient care accurately
- Participation in unit or facility shared leadership and potential involvement in research activities within clinical practice
âš¡ Requirements
- Ideal candidate will have a background in ICU/PCU with prior oncology experience highly preferred
- Must be comfortable working with high acuity patients and have a focus on acute leukemia and stem cell transplant
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends is required for this role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with electronic medical records and advanced patient monitoring systems is beneficial
