As a Resource Team RN, you will play a vital role in the assessments and plans of your patients at both our Banner University Medical Center Tucson and Banner University Medical Center South Tucson campuses. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), and patient transports.
In your role as a Registered Nurse with our Resource Team Float Pool, you will support the clinical needs of multiple units throughout the hospital (Progressive Care, Med/Surg, Outpatient Observation, and more). In addition, we are always looking to grow our team members by expanding skillsets based off of quarterly goal planning with your management team. Opportunity to work Full Time, 3x12-hour Day Shift (7:00AM- 7:30PM) with weekend rotations. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. As an added bonus, Float Pool RN's also enjoy an additional $3/hr float incentive on top of base pay.

POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
