As a Resource Team RN, you will play a vital role in the assessments and plans of your patients at both Banner University Medical Center Tucson and South Tucson campuses. Banner University Medical Center Tucson has been named Tucson's top hospital and the third best in Arizona by U.S. News & World Report. This recognition is based on the latest rankings for the 2024-2025 Best Regional Hospitals, considering performance in 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), and patient transports.
In your role as a Registered Nurse with our Resource Team, you will support the clinical needs of multiple units throughout the hospital (Progressive Care, Med/Surg, Outpatient Observation, and more). In addition, we are always looking to grow our team members by expanding skillsets based off of quarterly goal planning with your management team. If you are someone who enjoys change and continuous opportunities to learn and expand your RN skills and knowledge, this is the perfect team to join! With this position, you will work Part Time, 2x12-hour shifts, Days or Nights available (7:00 - 7:30) with weekend rotations. Enjoy an 18% - night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. As an added bonus, Float Pool RN's also enjoy an additional $3/hr float incentive on top of base pay.
