The Progressive Care Unit is an 80-bed inpatient high acuity, cardiac monitored unit focusing on providing exceptional patient-centered care for adults and geriatric patients. As a Registered Nurse in PCU, you will provide care for diverse patients with acute and chronic disease processes and multiple co-morbidities. Our leadership team prides itself on a collaborative teamwork approach, while ensuring a strong focus on continued growth and mentoring for our RNs. Nurses on our unit are EKG and ACLS certified, and receive education beyond basic level learning. Our vision is to provide our team with an environment where our RNs can thrive and create an exceptional patient experience!

This unit is a great gateway for RNs who seek challenge, love to learn, and would like to build a solid foundation of skills across many areas. As a Registered Nurse at Banner, you will have the opportunity to work 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm with weekend rotations utilizing our self-scheduling tool. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
