In this role, you'll support Outpatient Infusion services as a Lab/OTC Registered Nurse. This position will split time between accessing ports/piccs and drawing labs in the BMDACC lab and working in the Outpatient Treatment Center which currently gives supportive care, iron infusions and blood transfusions. Beginning 10/1/25, the OTC will start administering chemotherapy as well. The candidate will need to obtain chemotherapy certification upon hire for the shifts that are worked in the OTC.
You'll collaborate closely with infusion nurses and oncology providers to ensure timely symptom management, adherence to clinical protocols, and patient education. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4-days per week, 9-hour shifts between 6:30am-6pm (weekend rotations)

Our inpatient medical oncology unit also incorporates a program that utilizes the electronic surveillance partnership in caring for the patient, where remote nurses have the ability to interact with patients via two-way audio-video to assist the bedside nurse with patient care.
