As a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit focused on Observation status patients, you will be a part of a fast paced environment with a wide variety of patient illnesses. This area features a fast pace similar to the ED with the diagnostic work ups and care needs of the Telemetry setting. The wide variety develops a strong clinical foundation and knowledge as you work closely with physicians, case management and experienced nurses. Patients admitted from the ED to the Observation unit require rapid evaluation, testing and interventions to determine safe discharge or movement to inpatient units.

The 24-bed Observation Unit at Banner Boswell Medical Center, has an outstanding multi-disciplinary team that works together to provide excellent patient care. The range of clinical diagnoses and patient care provides an exceptional experience for nurses to develop and/or use every facet of their clinical knowledge.

You will also have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
