The Banner Health New Nurse Experience is a full-time Registered Nurse position that assists you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse at Banner Health. This program provides a collaborative learning environment in which you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and develop new personal and professional relationships.
Successful candidates will be placed in specific units at Banner Health facilities to be clinically mentored by unit staff and educators. We offer all of our New Grads multiple Career Pathways and development opportunities to achieve your long-term career goals. Whether you are wanting to go into a specialty unit, leadership roles, non-bedside nursing opportunities, or any other sector of nursing - we will help you get there! The expectation is that you will stay on your NNE unit for at least 12 months to get a full and comprehensive training experience! New Grads will also need to live within a reasonable commute distance of the facility they are hired into.
Most new nurses will work three 12-hour shifts, which will include weekend and holiday rotations with other staff members.

Benefits/Compensation:
This is a full-time, benefitted, and paid position. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable. All New Grad RN positions are eligible for Banner Health's "Total Rewards Compensation Package", which includes Health/Dental/Vision insurance (if employee desires), PTO/Sick time accrual, 401K, and a long list of other benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of the month following your start date.
Unit Overview:
Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ offers a wonderful culture and has served the Northwest Valley for more than 25 years. Clinical Care Operations is the hub of patient management for the campus, including: bed assignment, unit staffing (scheduling, balancing, casual labor utilization), house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), patient transports, dispatch, and data analysis. As a RN New Grad with the Resource Team CCO, you will float to Med/Surg, PCU, and Outpatient Observation. This is the perfect job for someone who likes change and can adapt well under a constantly changing environment.
These are Full Time Night Shift positions, 7P -7:30A, 3 12-hour shifts per week. Will include a set rotation for weekends and holidays. Enjoy an additional $3/hour Weekend Shift differential, 18% Night Shift differential, and a $3/hour Float Shift differential, when applicable.

Position Summary:
