- This position is part of the New Graduate RN Residency Program, which provides comprehensive training and mentorship.
- New graduates will be placed in specific units at Banner Health facilities, where they will receive clinical mentorship from experienced staff.
- The program includes hands-on training in a state-of-the-art simulation center and orientation to the Cerner electronic medical health record system.
- Participants will engage in competency and skills assessments to ensure they are well-prepared for their nursing roles.
- The expectation is to remain in the assigned unit for at least 12 months to gain a full and comprehensive training experience.

- The ideal candidate is a recent or upcoming graduate from an accredited nursing program, demonstrating a commitment to patient care and professional development.
- Candidates should possess a current BLS certification or be able to obtain it before their start date.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred, indicating a foundational understanding of the healthcare environment.
- Successful applicants will be eager to learn and adapt, as they will be transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent nurse.
