Banner Baywood Medical Center has served the growing East Valley for more than 30 years, and every day we work hard to provide the best care to our patients.
The Neuro-Stroke Progressive Care Unit is nationally certified as a Primary Stroke Unit by the Joint Commission. It is a three-wing, 74-bed telemetry unit that provides acute care for all stroke and neuro patients as well as cardiac, medical, and post-surgical patients. While this is a challenging, high-acuity unit, the potential for learning and growth is unmatched. Joining our group of collaborative and compassionate clinicians will open opportunities for NIHSS certification, stroke-response education, and training for the administration of the lifesaving drug, TPA. We are seeking high-level RNs excited for the depth and breadth of experience this unit has to offer who will support and contribute to our culture of safety, curiosity, inclusion, and belonging so we can deliver the best care.
This unit is a great gateway for RNs who seek challenge, love to learn, and would like to build a solid foundation of skills across many areas. As a Registered Nurse at Banner, you will have the opportunity to work 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm with weekend rotations utilizing our self-scheduling tool. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
Your pay and benefits are important components of your journey at Banner Health. This opportunity includes the option to participate in a variety of health, financial, and security benefits.
