Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix is located in downtown Phoenix, AZ and is the hospital of choice for many within our community. It is known for achieving the coveted Magnet status from American Nurses Association and for being a top Academic teaching hospital for future nurses and physicians. As an ICU Donor Care Nurse, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Nursing Clinical Ladder Program.
The new Donor Care Center will be one of eight organ procurement programs in the country and first in the state of Arizona. Banner continues to courageously innovate as we create a unique organ recovery process that will help to improve donation and transplantation outcomes. We are interested in finding team members who are passionate about organ donation and the processes associated with giving the gift of life to other deserving families in our community. We will start with 4 beds and with plans to expand the unit. This unique patient population of brain-dead only patients will require the RN staff more autonomy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on optimizing organ viability for procurement.
You will also have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate of $3/hour weekend shift differential.
