The newly remodeled 2B Intensive Care Unit is comprised of 12 beds at Banner Estrella Medical Center (BEMC) caring for the highest acuity patients in the facility. BEMC is a Level 4 Trauma Center servicing Southwest Phoenix and surrounding areas. As an RN for 2B ICU you will be primarily caring for Cardiovascular patients including post Open-Heart Surgery, OR, Cath lab, and IR. In addition, Acute Neurological/Stroke, Medical/Renal, and Pulmonary patients census permitting. Nurses on this unit are given additional training to be able to care for patients on ventilators, vasoactive drips, CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management, IABP, and Impella.

This position is a full-time day shift, working 3- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.

We are currently seeking experienced surgical ICU Nurses but at this time we are accepting applications for those that have a critical care background.

Eligibility for the sign-on bonus requires 1+ years of ICU experience.
