As a General PCU Registered Nurse, you will care for patients recovering from surgery, stable cardiac conditions, respiratory illnesses requiring non-invasive ventilation, or those transitioning from the ICU who still need significant medical oversight. These patients often require specialized nursing care, advanced monitoring, and sometimes complex medication regimens to ensure a smooth recovery and prevent complications. Ratios on this unit are 1:4. Our academic model and teaching orientation supports learning at all levels, and is truly a collaborative environment between nursing, physicians and other therapies. This is a part time, night shift position with 2x12 shifts per week, 7pm-7:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays. You will also have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
