The Level I Trauma Emergency Departments at Banner Desert and Desert Children’s Medical Center are focused on fulfilling Banner’s mission to make a difference in people’s lives through excellent patient care. With over 107 beds our ED sees over 150,000 patients annually and care for both adult and pediatric patient populations.

We offer our ED Registered nurses unique, exciting opportunities and programs for innovative care including: Certified Primary Stroke Center, Acute Chest Pain accreditation and ACS Trauma Level II (Arizona State Trauma Level I). As vital members of the multi-professional care team, we strive to advance the art and science of patient care, quality and safety. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential when working 7p-7a and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
