- This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Surgery department.
- The role requires participation in call rotations, with additional compensation for call and weekend shifts.
- The CVOR RN will assist physicians during surgical procedures and must be knowledgeable about various cardiac and vascular lab tests.
- Documentation of patient care and adherence to organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice is required.
- The position may involve supervising other nursing staff and contributing to the education and development of team members.

- The ideal candidate will have experience as a Registered Nurse, specifically in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- A strong passion for patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a surgical team is essential.
- Candidates should possess excellent assessment and critical thinking skills to formulate and implement effective care plans.
- Experience with advanced surgical tasks and equipment, such as cardiopulmonary bypass and cardiac output assistive devices, is highly desirable.
