Banner Estrella Medical Center is an American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognized 317 bed facility in Southwest Phoenix. Banner Estrella maintains NIHSS Stroke Gold Elite Plus, Chest Pain and Pediatric Preparedness accreditations. In this position, you will provide nursing support to several procedural areas: Cardiology, Radiology, Endoscopy, and Medical Imaging. RN's assist in preparing patients for their respective procedures and recovering and monitoring them post procedure and post sedation.
Schedule: 4 10 hour shifts. This RN will support both in Pre and Post CARES. The Pre shift is 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM and the Post shift is 7:30 AM TO 6:00 PM. Evening/weekend call as well as holiday rotation will be required. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.

POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
