3A is a 24 bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) that serves patients with medically complex cardiac needs. This unit sees a variety of cardiac related diagnosis, cardiac drips, pre/post procedures including TAVR recovery and recovery of open hearts post ICU downgrade, may also see pulmonary, renal and vascular patients. The vast majority of the patients in the PCU require continuous cardiac monitoring. Ratio flex between 1:4-5, however most of the time ratios are 1:4.

The Progressive Care Unit at Banner Estrella Medical Center is currently seeking experienced PCU Nurses, but at this time we are accepting applications for those that have Telemetry, ICU, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Medical/Surgical or any other acute or critical care background. We are looking to fill part-time night shifts, working 2-12 shifts per week, 7:00pm to 7:30am, with rotating weekends/holidays. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential when applicable and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
