- This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
- The role requires collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members to formulate a comprehensive plan of care.
- The nurse will be accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and will utilize specialized knowledge and judgment in patient care.
- The position offers opportunities for flexible scheduling and the ability to work at multiple Banner Health facilities.
- Completion of a post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen, and background check is required.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of Emergency Department Registered Nurse work experience within the last year and a half.
- Candidates must possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications upon hire.
- A flexible schedule is essential, as the role requires self-scheduling a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
- The successful applicant will be comfortable working both day and night shifts, as well as picking up shifts at various Banner Health locations.
- Strong assessment, planning, and evaluation skills are necessary to provide quality nursing care to patients.
