- This position is part of the New Graduate RN Residency Program, designed to help new nurses transition into fully competent professionals.
- Participants will receive clinical mentorship from experienced staff and educators in specific units at Banner Health facilities.
- The program includes hands-on training in a state-of-the-art simulation center and a patient care skills lab.
- Nurses will engage in competency and skills assessment, orientation to the Cerner electronic medical health record system, and e-learning modules.
- The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate is a recent or upcoming graduate from an accredited nursing program, preferably with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Candidates should possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or be able to obtain it before their start date.
- Successful applicants will have no more than 12 months of RN experience, making this position suitable for entry-level nurses.
- A strong commitment to patient care and a desire to develop nursing skills in a collaborative environment are essential.
- The candidate should be open to working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as part of their nursing role.
