- This position involves performing high-risk obstetric ultrasounds and working closely with on-site perinatologists.
- The sonographer will conduct various ultrasound procedures, including first trimester ultrasounds and detailed anatomy ultrasounds in the second and third trimesters.
- Responsibilities include educating patients and families about procedures and maintaining high-quality imaging for timely interpretation.
- The role requires performing and evaluating equipment quality control measurements and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- The sonographer will be accountable for ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to their practice.

- The ideal candidate will have national certification in the area of specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- A successful applicant will possess BLS certification and must obtain Nuchal Translucency, CLEAR, and OBGYN certifications within six months of hire.
- Candidates should have clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience working with an on-site perinatologist and one year of experience in MFM ultrasounds and procedures.
- Effective communication skills and strong human relations skills are essential for interacting with patients and families.
- The role requires the ability to analyze data and solve problems independently.
