The Banner IT Clinical Applications Environments team is responsible for the stability of Banner's production Cerner Millennium domains. Banner is one of the largest Cerner Millennium RHO production environments in the US requiring this team to actively engage in domain planning and guidance, as well as troubleshooting issue escalations impacting all our clinical application teams. This support and guidance also extends to the 9 non-production Millennium domains.
As a System Engineer 3, you will assist with issue escalations and help coordinate with Cerner Oracle SolutionWorks support teams as well as our CernerWorks remote hosted teams. Banner has a long history as a Cerner client and converted from CHO to RHO several years ago providing a unique partnership with Oracle. Your technical expertise and understanding of various architecture concepts will be necessary and highly leveraged to support current team/organizational processes as well as identifying new process opportunities as we continue to expand our Cerner Oracle footprint. Supporting various Cerner Millennium core technologies including but not limited too Cerner print queue maintenance, Cerner Operations Job build and support, domain refresh technical activities, server troubleshooting, monitor system performance and technical compliance.
This position is a seasoned expert that demonstrates a high degree of technical knowledge for infrastructure and communications processes and supports system defined objectives relative to the company's business and healthcare requirements. Assumes the role of project leader for large scale projects to lead, plan, design, implement and support Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications.
