- This position involves providing comprehensive emergent and critical care to patients before and during transport to hospital facilities.
	- The Flight RN will collaborate with other health team members to ensure continuity of care for critically ill or injured patients.
	- Effective communication with internal and external customers, including hospitals and emergency services, is a key responsibility.
	- The role requires the completion of annual education requirements and the performance of advanced medical procedures.
	- The candidate will be scheduled to work 48 hours per week in this critical nursing position.
                            

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will possess a current and valid RN license in the state of hire, with specific requirements for Colorado employees.
	- A minimum of three years of critical care nursing experience is essential, particularly in ICU, MICU, SICU, or NICU settings.
	- Candidates should have advanced training and competencies in procedures such as central line placement and advanced airway management.
	- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously are crucial for success in this role.
	- Flexibility to work in various adverse conditions, including high altitude and extreme weather, is necessary.
