This is a procedural role, so the RNs are administering and monitoring a variety of cardiac tests, including stress echoes, treadmills, nuclear stress tests and transesophageal echocardiograms. Daily work includes triaging inpatients and setting up the day, working closely with fellows and attendings to prioritize tests, prepping patients for stress tests and monitoring during testing, prepping patients for transesophageal echocardiograms and administering moderate sedation. Monitoring and recovering patient during and after procedure. Cardiac or procedural experience is preferred.
Schedule: 4 10 hour days, 7am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Weekend call roughly every 5 weeks. Call is 8am-4:30pm. Holiday call rotation is required. This position will rotate across our three main locations: BUMCT: 1625 N Campbell Ave, BUMCS 28000 Ajo Way, North Campus 3838 N Campbell. BUMCT and BUMCS are a blend of in and outpatients and NC is fully outpatient. Rotations are as needed.
