As a Clinical RN, your role is to support the clinical team of MDs, NPs, and PAs in providing excellent member care through providing direct education, counseling, and clinical care to members.

What You’ll Do:

Assists the clinicians in refilling member prescriptions and ordering labs
Collaborates with clinicians to provide members with lab and imaging results, as well as respond to medical requests by members and outside entities
Works with Member support to help complete clinical pieces of forms or paperwork deemed necessary by members, schools, or healthcare entities.
Provide any support required by the clinician, while functioning within the role of the registered nurse, in order to ensure optimal member care.
Collaborates with referral specialists in specialty referral, including at times generating referrals per the request of clinician
Plays an active role in developing and implementing a member’s plan of care.
Provides members with necessary health education
Supports and participates in Quality Assurance activities

Other specific duties:

PrEP navigation/counseling (education and counseling)
EMR routing, including answering clinical questions as allowed by scope of practice
Creating member education materials (library articles, etc.)
Injection training (individual video meetings with members)Ev
After clinician results labs, sending contact to members
Quest contact - result and follow labs, contact members, follow up with Quest re: outstanding labs
Processing refill surveys and preparing refill charts for clinicians to review and send orders
Follows and expedites referral process
Checks PMP as designee

Clinical experience and expertise serving the trans and queer communities
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with a wide variety of patients and coworkers

Desire to make sure all questions from a patient are answered completely, and patient is linked with appropriate resources and referrals if beyond our scope
Excellent decision-making skills and communication
Great organizational and time management skills that allow for timely completion of tasks and patient follow-up, especially important in a remote work environment
Demonstrated experience in working with diverse groups, including diversity in race, ethnicity, economic status, and educational background

Requirement for the role:

Active RN license (Strong preference for RN license that is part of the NLC compact states since that allows licensing coverage across 35 states)

Salary: $95,000
